We recently had the sweetest photo session with Niko for our pregnancy announcement, and I can't say enough good things about her! She picked the most beautiful spot at a local park--perfect lighting, peaceful setting, and totally kid-friendly. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free from start to finish.
What really stood out to me was how amazing she was with my kids. My six-year-old is very into silly faces right now, and I usually struggle to get a single decent picture of him--but somehow, she got him to cooperate and captured the sweetest, most genuine smiles. I honestly don't know how she did it!

She was warm, patient with my kids, and made sure she got every element for our family- the bond with their father, my baby bump, and our family portrait before we became a family of 5! Niko was so easy and fun to work with. From the very beginning she was super helpful with planning all of the details, even going as far as offering a style guide if I wanted it.
I let her know that my husband and I were awkward in front of the camera, but she made the shoot so fun and relaxing. We were totally comfortable and laughed the whole time. I loved that she was able to give us direction with posing in a way that didn't make us feel uncomfortable.
I mentioned that we wanted professional photos taken since our son was turning 1, and not only did Niko remember that, but she brought a super cute crown for him to wear, along with a banner that said "one". It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture!
Niko then went above and beyond again during editing. She actually gave me a few different options to choose from. The pictures turned out absolutely stunning. I've since had to refrain from printing and framing every single one to place around our house.
I would definitely use Niko again. She is super easy to talk to, did a fantastic job with our son (and us), and took gorgeous photos!
